Start with the AI Song Generator for a new song from text or lyrics. Use Cover when you already have a recording to reinterpret, Lyrics Generator for an editable word draft, and audio tools for a finished mix or melody.
Song Creation Guide: Turn Text or Lyrics into a Song
Start with a song idea or lyrics, choose the singing voice you want, and compare two original takes. Singify also has a separate Cover tool when you want to begin with an existing recording.
Start with the AI Song Generator and Your Own Idea
On Singify, the first step is your own idea. Open the AI Song Generator to turn a text prompt or lyrics into an original song. You can describe a scene, genre, instruments and mood without uploading a recording.
Use Simple Mode for a description, or Custom Mode when you have written the words and want to guide the musical style separately. A short, clear direction gives you something specific to listen for in the result.
Choose an AI Singer, Your Custom Voice or Instrumental
For a vocal song, let Singify match a singer to the style or choose an available AI voice. On an eligible paid plan, you can create a reusable custom voice from a permitted vocal sample and select it for supported original songs. You can also choose Instrumental when you do not want singing.
If you need words first, the AI lyrics generator produces an editable draft. Read it aloud, shorten crowded lines, then bring your revised lyrics into Custom Mode. Voice choice and lyric delivery can vary between finished takes.
Use AI Song Cover When You Already Have a Recording
If you already have a recording you are allowed to adapt, switch to AI Song Cover. Restyle makes a new performance around the source melody; Voice only aims to keep its words and backing while changing the singer. The original-song generator is the better starting point for a text-only idea.
Read the separate how to make an AI cover song guide for source preparation, Restyle instructions and replacement lyrics. Custom voice work requires the eligible paid setup; the plan comparison lists access and allowance conditions.
Submit One Song Request and Compare Two Takes
Sign in before submitting. Free accounts share three attempts per UTC day across original songs, Restyle covers and MIDI conversion. One original-song request uses one attempt and returns two versions. On paid plans, an original costs one Credit; check the displayed cost before trying again.
Follow the task in Studio and return to My Songs for your two results. Let a queued or processing task finish before submitting the same idea again. If it fails, read the shown message and review your prompt, lyrics or settings before another attempt.
Listen to the Words, Voice and Song Structure
Play both finished versions. Compare the opening, chorus and ending, then check the words, vocal phrasing, voice and arrangement against your brief. If the direction is wrong throughout, revise one detail before using another attempt.
Use the paid AI song extender when you want another section from a selected continuation point. The source remains saved. Listen to the returned result alongside it; check the transition and use an audio editor when your project needs a joined arrangement.
Choose Vocal Remover or Stem Splitter for the Parts
The paid vocal remover estimates two parts, vocals and backing, for practice or a closer listen. Use the paid stem splitter for six groups: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other.
These are estimated parts from mixed audio. Compare with the original for bleed, missing attacks or softened detail before making an edit. Each separation request costs one Credit rather than producing another song-generation take.
Convert Audio to MIDI when You Need Notes
Audio to MIDI turns a recording into an editable note draft. Start with a clear musical line, then check pitch, duration and timing in a DAW. The MIDI file does not carry the original vocal or instrument sound.
Conversion uses one shared free attempt or one paid Credit. A completed MIDI file can be downloaded on Free; downloading a generated song audio file requires a paid plan.
Review Visibility, Downloads and Commercial Permissions
Free original songs are public and play online; paid original generation offers private visibility. Covers start private. Check each task rather than assuming every processed or extended result shares those defaults. For uploaded-material handling, read the privacy policy.
Song audio downloads require a paid plan. Commercial permissions apply to eligible results generated during an active annual Starter or Plus subscription and do not clear third-party source rights. The license agreement defines those conditions; monthly billing and a later upgrade do not grant the same rights to earlier results.
